You can now prepare for the National Exam in Massage Therapy in almost half the time and expense. A new program has been approved, in the State of Florida, for a 500-hour course in Massage Therapy for healthcare professioinals. This program can be completed in only 300-hours by transferring at least 200 clock hours of prior training from an accredited institution. A minimum of these hours being in Anatomy and Physiology, nurses and other medical professionals can prepare for the National Exam to be licensed as a Massage Therapist.
By successfully completing the National Exam and obtaining licensure in the State of Florida, a healthcare professional, while creating more flexible work hours, can significantly increase their current income by directly billing insurance companies for their massage services.
